Hitters Baseball

This advanced program will assist players with solid fundamentals and foundational skill sets with advanced training on hitting mechanics. Players will review all technical aspects of hitting from stance width, hip weight, snap, angular rotation, bat placement, grip, and finish to maximize hitting efficiency and power. Players should have a strong knowledge of hitting fundamentals, and are encouraged to bring a properly sized bat for their height and weight. All methods of bat training will be utilized, from machine to live ball hitting.

This camp is designed to instruct each participant on proper baseball technique. Instruction and improvement of fundamentals for successful pitching, fielding, and hitting includes: proper form/technique, grip, various stances, weight shift, stride, swing, and follow-through. Players should bring gloves and bats, and be ready for a fun and exciting time!

In this two hour long program, players will focus an hour of training on hitting, and an hour on pitching. Players will go through various best practices to enhance their fundamentals, as well as work on more advanced concepts tailored to their form and body type to yield maximum results. Small coach to player ratios help ensure players receive individualized attention and reps, as well as finishing every session with competition to ensure they can execute their mechanics in a game like setting.

In this introductory program, young players are introduced to the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and engaging setting. Players will spend 20-40 minutes each week working on skills and mechanics, which is then followed by a quick intrasquad scrimmage. As coaches feel players progressing with their basic techniques, game time may be elongated to provide more playing time. Players are required to bring a glove, helmets, tees, and bats are provided. Coaches will both umpire and coach during gameplay for a hands on approach to ensure players are growing and developing each week.

This introductory clinic is designed to teach players basic fundamentals of fielding, throwing, hitting, and catching. Players will work in two person teams and receive focused instruction on body mechanics to ensure a solid foundation for optimal control, accuracy, and velocity. Players will focus on a specific aspect of the game each week, ensuring tiered development and that players leave learning an integral technical aspect every program. Sessions run at a maximum of 6 participants. Players are required to bring a glove, bats and helmets shall be provided.

Coaches will utilize multiple different forms of hitting from tee work to soft toss, and as players progrees increase the difficulty of the skill building to increase ball location, hand eye coordiantion, and body mechanics. Maximum six participants per session.

The Juniors baseball program is designed to give children an opportunity to begin their baseball playing experience in a fun and supportive environment. During the class, activities are introduced to promote proper balance, equipment, hand eye coordination, following directions and early baseball fundamentals. Players of all skill sets will be able to participate and learn the great game of baseball! Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats will be provided. Parent participation is required for this program.

Come join in on the fun and start playing the nation’s most loved game! Players are introduced to stance, receiving, rushing, blocking and defense. Each day ends with a scrimmage encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. Players always get to play either receiver or running back every day. Games focus on fundamentals and field concepts, as well as positions and mechanics. No equipment necessary! (Cleats are recommended)  Campers are divided into groups based on age, size and ability. Campers should bring a snack and water bottle each day. Every camper will receive a t-shirt.

Players experience daily scrimmages with active instruction and tips from the coaching staff. Players are encouraged to employ skills used in football such as running pass routes, play calling, defensive positioning, the fundamentals of blocking and pass coverage. These skills and others will be put to use in a "game time" environment while the players scrimmage each week.

This introductory program gets players excited and engaged with America's most popular sport: football! Players learn basic concepts such as routes, grip, and catching forms. Drills and games will encrouage proper form and increase motor skills, hand eye cooridnation, and introduce players to working within a group dynamic. Parents are required to participate in this program with their child, and all equipment is provided.

The Rookie Blitzers program is the next step in our Blitzers concept. Using basic football games and activities, player develops early football skills in this non-contact class while gaining confidence, coordination, and motor skills with a focus on having fun! The program uses age appropriate drills and exercises to teach players proper stance, passing, catching, running and more. Each class is designed to develop endurance, promote good sportsmanship and teamwork. All equipment is provided.

Players learn the basic mechanics and form for putting, chipping, and driving. Balance and control are emphasized as kids learn one of the world's fastest growing sports in an engaging and fun environment!

Schools out for the day, and what better way for your kids to spend it than playing sports and getting a great workout! Our "No School" Sports Camps are custom tailored to each age group, and players are always separated by skill, age, and friend requests to ensure they have the most fun possible. Players will get to play all the popular sports they see on TV, alongside several fun engaging camp games such as dodgeball, kickball, and capture the flag, and many of our proprietary games you can only find at Hot Shots Sports.

Looking for a little bit of everything but want to focus a bit more on developing your baseball skills? This combo camp is the perfect fit, where players spend 3 hours of camp time playing fun and engaging camp games, then the additional 3 hours of camp time are focused on developing Baseball mechanics and scrimmaging.

Parents are an integral part of helping their tots develop basic sports movement and motor skills. Motor skill activities focus on hand/eye and hand/foot coordination. Sports equipment and instruction are provided to help guide your child through an introduction to organized sports. Parents or caregiver participation is required.

Children are introduced to the fundamentals of sports including basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, t-ball and other sports and group games. The program provides an opportunity for each child to develop motor skills and nurture his/her growth socially and emotionally through teamwork and good sportsmanship.

/*-->*/ /*-->*/ This class features games from two of our most popular classes: Dodgeball and Nerf Elite Battle! All Nerf blasters, ammo and eye protection will be provided. Dodgeball uses super soft balls and safety is stressed during game play. Each week various games and battle fields will be assembled to ensure class is engaging and fresh each week.

The Juniors Strikers program introduces players to the fun and excitement of the world’s most popular sport, soccer. This class uses age appropriate games and drills to promote motor skills and familiarity with a soccer ball. Through our fun games and adventure themed activities, players develop skills such as balance, shooting, close ball control, and trapping. The Juniors experience is one that not only instills a love for the game of soccer, but also shows the importance of sports activity to promote a full and healthy life.

The Pro Strikers level is the next level of classes for your young soccer star. In this class, players develop a close familiarity with the ball and learn the importance of always having it under control. Being geared towards getting your child ready for future soccer experiences, the Pro level class tests players in a more challenging environment working on 1v1 and team exercises. By the end of class your child develops: landing on their shooting foot, precision shots vs. power shots, trapping the ball in the air, and field awareness.
