How a Partnership Works

- Custom proposal — within 2 business days, you receive a proposal with program mix, pricing options, and scheduling that fits your calendar.
- Agreement and setup — straightforward partnership agreement; we handle staff hiring, background checks, certifications, insurance Certificates of Insurance, and required training.
- Registration goes live — we run registration through our platform, integrate with yours, or bill through your district directly — whatever works for your operation.
- Programs run — your Site Supervisor is on-site every session; we provide attendance reports, weekly enrollment summaries, and end-of-semester program reviews.
- Season wrap and renewal — review meeting and joint planning for the next semester or year.

What kinds of school programs does Hot Shots run?
We run Athletic Department support, before- and after-school programming, recess supervision, enrichment classes, weekend leagues, gym classes, summer camps, and one-time event programming. Most school partners use us for enrichment programs and daytime gym programs, but some use us for the full slate.
Are your coaches background-checked?
Yes. Every Hot Shots coach completes background checks (state and federal where applicable), CPR certification, and comprehensive sport-specific training before working with students. Documentation is available on request and we comply with all district requirements.
How do you coordinate with our PE program?
If not running the gym programming, our regional director meets with your PE staff during the discovery and proposal phase to align on age-appropriate skill development, gross motor goals, and inclusive practices. The goal is for our programming to complement your PE curriculum, never duplicate or contradict it.
Who pays for the program?
Pricing models are flexible. Many programs are parent-paid (zero cost to the school), but we also work with district-funded contracts, PTA-sponsored partnerships, grant-funded enrichment, and hybrid models. We propose the structure that works for your funding situation.
Who provides insurance?
Hot Shots carries general liability, SAM, and professional liability insurance and provides a Certificate of Insurance naming your school as additional insured at no cost. Workers' compensation on our staff is our responsibility.
How quickly can a new program launch?
Typical timeline is 4 to 8 weeks from signed agreement to first session — faster for schools with established procurement processes, longer if we're piloting a new sport or programming model. Summer camps and time-sensitive launches can often be accelerated.
Can the program be customized for our school's culture?
Absolutely. Our flex curriculums adapt to participant skill levels, age groups, and school values. Faith-based schools, magnet programs, special education classes, and dual-language schools all have unique needs we accommodate.
