Bartlett

This camp is designed to instruct each participant on proper baseball technique. Instruction and improvement of fundamentals for successful pitching, fielding, and hitting includes: proper form/technique, grip, various stances, weight shift, stride, swing, and follow-through. Players should bring gloves and bats, and be ready for a fun and exciting time!

Gather several friends to make your own team (minimum of 5 players and maximum of 8 players) or join a random team by signing up individually. Round Robin play is used on the first day of camp to determine teams and divisions. League play begins with other teams in their division. The camp concludes with a double elimination tournament to crown the champion!

The Lil Chippers program finds year round facilities to teach the amazing game of golf to young players interested in learning the game. Defensive instruction includes man-to-man, denying the ball, help-line and boxing out. Players spend time developing their shot using proper mechanics to be effective further from the basket. Scrimmages are played every week.

This program introduces players to team-oriented concepts as well as more advanced skill mechanics, while also refining fundamentals learned in earlier levels. New players will be able to learn these core concepts as well, and class will be separated to ensure players of varying skill levels progress at appropriate pace. A focus on body movement and control will be prioritizes to enable players to utilize all aspects of the game. Hoops are set at ten feet and a 29.5 basketball will be used in accordance with USAB guidelines.

This program is designed for players to build on their current skills. Our instructors provide all players with assessments of their current skills, and offer each player tips and drills to improve their overall skills. This program features: stretching, form running, hitting mechanics, pitching mechanics, infield & outfield footwork, base running, game play and strategy. Participants should bring their own bat and glove.

In this extended version of our traditional Game Time Basketball, players receive an extra hour of practice and game time, as well as a Jersey. Focused solely on player development, players get as many reps as possible both in practice and during games. Gameplay follows the same format as the Game Time Basketball class, and prepares players for Travel basketball.

Athletes qualified for Basketball 302 should possess intermediate shooting and dribbling skills, an above average understanding of the game and are looking for a more competitive basketball experience. Players will review all technical aspects of hitting from stance width, hip weight, snap, angular rotation, bat placement, grip, and finish to maximize hitting efficiency and power. Players should have a strong knowledge of hitting fundamentals, and are encouraged to bring a properly sized bat for their height and weight. All methods of bat training will be utilized, from machine to live ball hitting. Helmets are provided, but players are encouraged to bring their own helmets.

This clinic will help advance players core technique, while refining basic knowledge and fundamentals of the game taught in our 100 level programs. Reaction time, throwing positions, pitching mechanics, and batting mechanics will be primary focuses as well as situational game awareness. Each week players will run through drills before competing in a stimulated game environment exposing them to several different game scenarios to improve in game comfortability and performance. Live pitching will be done both by the instructor and off machines. Gloves are required, bats and helmets will be provided.

 

Join us for this innovative Softball League. Players will be separated into teams each week based on attendance and skill level to ensure maximum competition. Practice will begin with 30 minutes of drills for all players utilizing a large field format, then teams will break down into stations. Teams will rotate through the Hit Trax Simulator competing against one another for the highest score. While one team bats with their coach and a designated pitching coach (who pitches/feeds for all teams) hitting live pitching or off the machine, the other teams will work on technical skills in the field. Each week will have a primary focus, and teams will rotate between coaches to ensure they are working with coaches with specializations in pitching, fielding, base running, and hitting.

Players are required to bring gloves, helmets and bats will be provided.

The Volleyball League exposes youth players to team dynamics and develops volleyball skills, strategy, and technique. Evaluations will be held the first week and will be used to determine team placement and provide balanced teams. The Hot Shots Sports coaches will conductskills session each week, followed by multiple games for each team that will be timed. Emphasis for the league will be placed on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and teams will be formed weekly to ensure the most competitive matchups are made each and every week. 

This clinic focuses on progressing all skills including, transitioning from free ball, offense, defense, and developing specific positions. This is a great opportunity for players to enhance their skill level and knowledge of the game. Kneepads are recommended.

Players begin technical work on skill manuevers and how to utilize all surfaces of the foot, as well as work in space and receive the ball. First touch is a priority, and how to work off other players to ensure spacing is consistent. Physical endurance and fitness are emphasized while touching the ball. At this age, the focus starts to change from simple games to organized, tactical, competitive games.

In the next stage of their progression, players increase their playing stamina and speed on and off the ball. The clinic’s specific technique training involve strength and placement shooting, landing on shooting foot, precision passing, settling the ball with various body parts, properly heading the ball, and other offensive and defensive skills. Most importantly, players are taught game concepts that will improve their decision-making.

Clarendon Hills

This camp is the ultimate sports camp, focusing on a variety of sports including flag football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, capture the flag, and other group games. Each day camper’s focus on skill development and fundamentals for each respective sport, followed by game play. Players are always separated into groups based on age, size, friend requests, and skill to ensure a safe and competitive environment. This class features three sports that alternate each week. Participants develop skills associated with each sport and have opportunities to use these skills in game situations. Gather several friends to make your own team (minimum of 5 players and maximum of 8 players) or join a random team by signing up individually. Round Robin play is used on the first day of camp to determine teams and divisions. League play begins with other teams in their division. Learn how to play each position effectively with instructional focus on base coverage and infield/outfield teamwork. Advance your offensive game by developing proper hitting techniques and bat swing.
